The terms governing your use of the Sawyer Oakley & Associates website, client portal, and debtor payment portal.
Last Updated: September 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Sawyer Oakley & Associates website and online platform (collectively, the "Platform"), including the client portal, debtor payment portal, and any related services. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Sawyer Oakley & Associates ("SOA," "we," "us," or "our") provides business-to-business commercial debt collection, asset recovery, and related receivables management services to business clients ("Clients") and operates an online portal through which debtors ("Consumers") may view account information and make payments.
Portal access is available by invitation or registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Client accounts are assigned by SOA or its authorized representatives, and administrative permissions (including associate assignments) may be changed at any time.
Clients placing accounts for collection affirm that they are the rightful owner of the debt or authorized to collect it, that the information provided is accurate, and that the debt is enforceable. Clients agree to provide supporting documentation upon request and to promptly notify SOA of payments received directly, disputes, or other material account changes.
SOA's collection fees are governed by the signed representation agreement between SOA and the Client. Payments submitted through the debtor payment portal are processed by a third-party payment processor; processing times, refunds, and chargebacks are subject to that processor's policies. SOA is not a bank and does not hold client funds.
By providing a phone number to SOA — including through a placed account — you consent to receive calls and text messages from SOA at that number, including calls made using automated technology, regarding the account. Calls may be monitored and recorded for quality, training, and compliance purposes. Consent may be revoked at any time by written notice, subject to applicable law.
You may not use the Platform to upload unlawful content, attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data, interfere with Platform operations, or use the Platform in violation of applicable law. You may not scrape, resell, or republish account data or debtor information obtained through the Platform.
All content, branding, and materials on the Platform are the property of SOA or its licensors. The Trademark of SOA may not be used without written permission.
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. SOA does not warrant that collection of any debt will be successful or that the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SOA shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. In no event shall SOA's total liability exceed the fees paid by the Client to SOA in the three (3) months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SOA, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Platform, or information you submit to the Platform.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in the applicable Colorado jurisdiction.
SOA may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Questions about these Terms may be submitted through the contact information provided on this website.
